Heavenly Creatures

Date: 2018-2021

Category:

Heavenly Creatures is a series of works that explores a dreamlike, transitional realm
where the human meets the mythical and the natural is transformed into the sacred.
Female figures appear as priestesses, guardians, and intermediaries between heaven
and earth, surrounded by winged creatures — dragonflies, birds, butterflies —
symbols of the soul, transformation, and inner freedom.

The faces emanate silence and strength; a calm, almost ritualistic presence that
suggests ancient and timeless knowledge. The winged beings are not decorative
elements, but extensions of the figures’ very existence: thoughts that take flight,
emotions in metamorphosis, souls in constant motion.

Through a contemporary visual language infused with references to surrealism and
mythology, Heavenly Creatures proposes a world of inner harmony, where feminine
energy, nature, and spirit coexist. A world in which fragility becomes power, and the imaginary reveals a deeper truth.
