Fight like a girl

Fight like a girl

90x90cm, oil on canvas

Fight like a girl is a poetic yet powerful depiction of female resilience. The serene female portrait is surrounded by floating fish—symbols of fluidity, adaptability, and inner freedom. The small wound on the shoulder does not signify weakness, but rather stands as a silent testimony of struggle. It is the point where vulnerability meets strength. The gaze remains steady, almost defiant, inviting the viewer to reconsider stereotypes surrounding femininity, conflict, and survival. Fight like a girl does not speak of aggression, but of endurance, transformation, and the quiet strength that persists.
In the Shadow of the Moon

In the shadow of the moon

90x90cm, oil on canvas

The work depicts the delicate line between bloom and melancholy. A female figure emerges from petals, as if born from a flower, yet simultaneously seems to dissolve within it. The surrounding flowers are not mere decorations—they are extensions of her soul: fragile, multi-layered, sometimes bright, sometimes dark. Between beauty and silence. Her sadness is not blatant, like the shadow of the moon on an otherwise luminous surface. Her gaze seeks answers in the world, while within her blooms a universe of emotions. How much sorrow can beauty conceal?
The Opulence of Memory

The opulence of memory

90x90cm, oil on canvas

The work explores the fluidity of identity. The figure transforms into a hybrid organism, where the human face coexists with avian elements, creating a visual dialogue between memory, loss, and rebirth. The feathers act as carriers of memory—charged and fragile—detaching from the body and leaving traces of vulnerability and silent tension. The butterfly, a symbol of transformation, touches the face like a memory that persists, or like a truth that has yet to be spoken. The Opulence of Memory does not narrate a specific story; it functions as a psychic landscape, where memory is not merely recollection, but an experience.
Souls and Bodies

Souls and Bodies

90x90cm, oil on canvas

The work incorporates the dualities we all experience—insecurity versus self-confidence, happiness versus despair, and optimism versus pessimism. The snake, a powerful symbol of rebirth and healing since ancient times, is the central motif of the work. It represents the transformative journey—emerging from darkness, shedding old skin, and embracing renewal. The journey of life unfolds in stages, like the seasons transitioning from winter to summer, from darkness to light.
Conversation

Conversation

120x100cm, oil on canvas

The snakes here are not threatening. From the time of Asclepius to the present day, the serpent has represented transformation—the continuous process of healing and inner evolution. Just as it sheds its skin in order to move forward, so too must the human being pass through trials, accept the darkness, before reaching the light. Her gaze is lowered, yet not weak; it radiates a quiet intensity, an inner dialogue that seems to unfold silently, within her and around her. Despite this otherworldly coexistence, the girl remains unshaken. She shows no fear. And yet, from her closed lips, drops of a black liquid slowly fall—like a shade of her thoughts finding a way to be expressed. An inner dialogue, a conversation between the opposites that compose the human experience. Insecurity and certainty, happiness and sorrow, optimism and pessimism—all coexist. The girl does not reject the darker aspects of her journey, but accepts them as part of a greater cycle.
Serenity of the Deep

Serenity of the Deep

120x100cm, oil on canvas

In “Serenity of the Deep”, a female figure is depicted with goldfish covering her hair, creating a mesmerizing play of light and movement, while her gaze meets the viewer directly, evoking a sense of immediacy and reflection. The composition creates a tension between inner calm and external observation, as the presence of the goldfish serves as a symbol of transformation, imagination, and inner freedom. Through this delicate balance, the work explores the relationship between personal identity and the dreamlike dimension born of imagination, inviting the viewer to connect with a sense of serenity and inner depth.
Flower Drop

Flower Drops

90x90cm, oil on canvas

In Flower Drops, the silence of the woman speaks louder than words. Her bare chest hovers between defiance and vulnerability, while her slightly parted lips suggest a whispered phrase that was lost before it could be heard. A red lily (Lilium) crowns her head, an embodiment of nature’s beauty fused with the human form. The lily’s stamens reach toward the sky—symbols of fertility and passion—while a solitary, crimson tear drips from its petals, leaving its mark on her cheek. The deep red background forms a halo around her head, reminiscent of an ancient deity or nature’s virgin form. Within this circle, fallen petals from other dark lilies drift, suggesting another world, another reality—perhaps a space where love, pain, and acceptance converge.
Breath of Wind

Breath of Wind

90x90cm, oil on canvas

Inspired by the iconic "The Wave" by Hokusai, Breath of Wind represents the ceaseless anxiety and uncertainty that pervade human existence. The crashing waves mirror the overwhelming challenges of daily life, while beneath the surface lies an inherent hope—an optimism amidst turbulence. The waves are a metaphor for life’s struggles, and yet, like the deep ocean, they conceal a powerful, quiet renewal beneath them. The painting conveys the delicate balance between the unpredictability of the future and the underlying optimism that guides us forward. The presence of the octopus, with its grace and intelligence, adds an additional layer of symbolism: it embodies the resilience, creativity, and adaptability needed to navigate life’s trials and find personal transformation.
Repressed Desire

Repressed Desire

80x80cm, oil on canvas

The composition teeters between the dreamlike and the real, between the gentle and the unspeakably violent. The face, with closed eyes, immersed in an inner tension, becomes a mirror of a suppressed soul that falls silent. The rose, in place of the mouth, bears witness to a desire never expressed, while the butterflies—fleeting fantasies, desires, sensations—seek an outlet. The psychological tension is pervasive. Beauty offers no solace; it becomes a way of masking trauma. Every element of the composition carries weight: of memory, of repression, of relentless inner searching. It is a dream on the threshold of desire and suppression—where even the darkest dreams are born.
Queen of Silence

Queen of Silence

90x90cm, oil on canvas

The female figure, isolated within an inner, almost ritualistic space, carries the tension of the unspoken. Her gaze is pierced by a single tear, suggesting an emotional fracture that remains controlled and dignified. The swans surrounding the figure symbolize purity and regality, but also restrained tenderness. Their elongated necks form a frame that is at once protective and confining, intensifying the sense of inner tension and psychological introspection. Silence here is not passive; it is a conscious stance, a form of self-mastery, yet one marked by a fragile balance.
Eye Waltz

Queen of Silence

120x120cm, oil on canvas

The girl, her gaze cast downward, forms a silent connection with herself and the world around her. The snakes move around her in an almost dance-like rhythm—as if they are embracing her protectively rather than threatening her. The large white flower on her forehead, with its icy petals dripping like stalactites, seems to hover between the present moment and eternity. And finally, from her slightly parted lips emerges a tongue reminiscent of a serpent’s, intensifying the sense of complete assimilation with her surroundings—as if she now belongs to this world, as if she has found an inner balance between the familiar and the unknown. A whisper suggests that nature itself is cyclical, and that the human connection to it can be as inevitable as it is magical. The work feels like a silent dialogue between the inner and the outer, the wild and the calm, the earthly and the transcendent. A piece that invites you to feel it, rather than interpret it.
Courage is a Decision

Courage is a decision

90x90cm, oil on canvas

The work seeks to speak of courage as a conscious act in the face of the awareness of decay. Flowers and insects appear as memories, fears, and desires that can no longer be ignored. Transformation is not presented as redemption, but as an inevitable process. The work functions as an existential landscape, where the subject stands between the need for protection and the desire for life. Courage is a Decision speaks of the moment in which a person chooses not to withdraw—to exist fully, even within uncertainty.
Outsite Insite

Outsite Insite

90x90cm, oil on canvas

The work is based on the American Thanksgiving, where turkeys live in abundance, are richly fed, and appear content. An allegory for the human condition—for those who enjoy, yet learn to remember. The work reflects on the delicate balance between pleasure and awareness, mortality and the unpredictable nature of existence.
